The Africa Local Content Forum

The Africa Local Content Forum at AOW:Energy 2026 builds on the tremendous success of our inaugural edition in Accra in 2025, which convened the highest concentration of policymakers, NOC leaders, international operators, academics, and regional private-sector champions ever seen at an African energy event specifically to advance Local Content and Inclusion dialogue.

In 2026, we elevate this dialogue even further, bringing together global procurement leaders, senior government officials, training institutions, financiers, and Africa’s most promising local enterprises for a strategic discussion on how to unlock long-term, sustainable value for African private sector through stronger local participation in the upstream sector.

This Forum is designed to shape the next chapter of Africa’s local content evolution by focusing on human capital, capacity development, supply chain growth, and the creation of regional service hubs.

AOW:Energy 2026 will convene powerful conversations on capacity building, procurement models, industrialization pathways, and cross-border harmonization to help African businesses scale in regional and international projects.
