Ministerial & CEO Leadership Forum
The Ministerial & CEO Leadership Forum stands as AOW:Energy’s flagship, closed-door gathering, an exclusive meeting point for Ministers, National Oil Company leadership, global operators, CEOs, and strategic investors. This high-impact forum brings together the continent’s most influential decision-makers to engage in a trusted environment where real issues are addressed and real solutions are shaped. The dialogue spans regulatory reform, acreage promotion, investment facilitation, upstream technology, infrastructure development, financing, and Africa’s long-term competitiveness in global energy markets.
Held in partnership with AFREC (African Energy Commission of the African Union), this forum underpins the most critical elements of the AOW:Energy conference. Through a series of consultations, strategic dialogues, and focused roundtables, the Forum drives forward the conversations that matter most, those that will determine a more prosperous Africa with energy security and shared prosperity. It is in this high level dialogue that policy frameworks are refined, investment priorities are aligned, and new roadmaps for upstream success and sustainable prosperity are created through collaboration, transparency, and high-level engagement.
In 2025, the Forum was chaired by Hon. Minister John Jinapor (MP), Minister of Energy and Green Transition, Republic of Ghana, setting a new benchmark for ministerial leadership, clarity of vision, and regional cooperation. As we move into 2026, the Forum is poised to deliver even more meaningful dialogue, dialogue that will catalyse new capital flows, unlock new upstream opportunities, and advance Africa’s shared ambition for prosperity, stability, and world-class energy development.
Participation is by invitation only.
