Natural Gas Forum
In partnership with Gas for Africa
The AOW:Energy Natural Gas Forum, delivered in partnership with Gas for Africa, serves as a high-level platform dedicated to advancing dialogue, investment, and cooperation across Africa’s natural gas value chain.
As natural gas continues to play a critical role in Africa’s energy transition, industrialisation, and energy security, the Forum brings together policymakers, national oil companies, international energy companies, investors, project developers, and infrastructure providers to examine how gas can be deployed responsibly, efficiently, and at scale across the continent.
The Forum will address the full spectrum of Africa’s gas ecosystem — from upstream development and midstream infrastructure to gas-to-power, LNG, regional trade, and domestic market expansion — while aligning with Africa’s development priorities and global energy transition goals.
Key focus areas include:
- Unlocking investment for gas infrastructure and gas-to-power projects
- Developing domestic gas markets to support industrial growth and energy access
- Accelerating regional integration and cross-border gas trade
- Aligning African gas development with energy transition frameworks and climate objectives
- Strengthening policy, regulatory, and financing structures to enable bankable projects
Through curated discussions, strategic insights, and real-world case studies, the AOW:Energy Natural Gas Forum aims to position natural gas as a pragmatic enabler of Africa’s energy future — supporting economic development while enabling a just and orderly transition.
In partnership with Gas for Africa, the Forum benefits from data-driven insights, market intelligence, and a pan-African perspective that connects governments, investors, and industry leaders around actionable outcomes.
