NOCK’s Strategic Participation at AOW: Energy 2025:
Across the program Mr. Leparan ole Morintat, CEO & Managing Director of NOC Kenya, will engage with private sector leaders to discuss the full potential of the Kenyan upstream sector. These exclusive discussions and presentations will provide operators with an exclusive pre-licensing round launch, offering insights into the forthcoming licenses and acreage.

With that, Kenya will also be leading practical presentations and private meetings with global private sector regarding their forthcoming Licence Round.
Kenya’s Ministry of Energy and Petroleum is set to unveil 47 exploration blocks, with 10 premium blocks to be announced exclusively at AOW: Energy 2025. Comprehensive data packages will be accessible at NOC Kenya’s Data Centre and on-site at AOW, offering potential investors a detailed overview of these promising opportunities.
Senior Officials from the Kenyan government will also highlight Kenya’s ambitions in the gas-to-power sector and provide insights into the Lokichar–Lamu project, exemplifying Kenya’s commitment to harnessing natural gas for sustainable development.

Mr. Leparan Gideon ole Morintat, CEO & Managing Director of NOCK, will play a pivotal role in several key sessions:
- Tertiary Basin (T-Blocks): Building on discoveries by Tullow and NOCK, with 1,228 million barrels of oil in place, NOCK seeks partners for upcoming drilling phases and joint ventures.
- Anza Basin: With a discovery of a potential 1.3 trillion cubic feet of gas, NOCK is exploring gas-to-power potentials and invites farm-in partners to capitalize on this resource.
- Lamu Basin: Block L-8, previously explored for oil, has demonstrated significant gas potential, presenting substantial commercial opportunities with up to 50m net pay.
- Pate Island Discovery: Recent gas discoveries highlight the island’s potential, paving the way for future developments.
- T11 Magadi Southern Rift (Onshore): Preparations are underway for the drilling phase, marking a significant step in onshore exploration with preliminary prospects for multiple prospects of up to 118 MMboe per prospect.
